Now, some of you may say "Right. He is just going to "cherry pick" another period of time. WRONG. I want to convince you. Not amuse you. So I picked the best time period of all. The earth is five billion years old, give or take a few hundred million years. And we can ignore for the moment the fact that the year used to be about three times as long. Or maybe it was just that the days were a lot shorter. No matter, because the earth is spinning and who cares how long the day is just as long as it is followed by a night. And so far, so good on that. To be really accurate on detecting the trend of Global Warming, and not just some highly suspect natural and normal variability over the short term, I declare that the only justifiable timeperiod is the whole enchilada. The hot tamale, as it were. By taking the entire five billion year period one can be certain there is no trickery in the "cherry picking". One can then, as an added benefit, accuse anyone else who looks at a shorter period of propaganda based on hand picked data. So. What is the answer. Is the globe warming? Or not? The obvious answer is that it is cooling. And there is proof. A simple experiment will erase all doubts. Go to your nearest window. Look out. Do you see rock and dirt and soil. Or do you see a seething roiling incandescent mass of lava. Lava as far as the eye can see. Well, then that proves it. The earth is cooling. Everywhere. This last is for those who suspect that data from only particular places is being "cherry picked. If you do not accept this, then you are a denier. Or just stupid. |
